Track & Field Sets Multiple Personal-Records At The Billiken Invite

How It Happened
In the hammer throw to start the afternoon on the women's side, Raven Venegas finished in second place with a mark of 40.47 m. Jillian Venegas followed with a third-place finish and a personal-record with a throw of 37.19 m on her third attempt.
Mackenze Daniel ended up in fourth place at 37.00 m, while Emily Bay earned herself a PR of 33.42 m for sixth place. Amelia Tregoning became the third Griffin to hit a PR with a throw of 31.66 m.
In the javelin, Bay collected her second PR of the day with a throw of 30.94 m on her final attempt. Katie Gosser smashed her previous personal-record with a new landing mark of 29.08, also on her final attempt.
Tregoning closed out her the event with a throw of 22.66 m. In the long jump, K. Gosser just missed out on her personal-record as she landed at 4.55 m.
On the men's side, Hayden Thompson was the lone competitor for the Griffins and he finished in seventh at 21.61 m in the hammer throw. He also took part in the javelin with a throw of 26.13 m.
