Green Breaks Program Record In Weight Throw; Track And Field Sets 11 PRs At Principia

After Mark Fisher set the indoor program record last week, Tyler Green took over the top spot today on his last toss in the weight throw with a mark of 12.12 m.
Fisher ended up in 18th place finishing at 11.59 m, while Tyree Simms also set a PR with a throw of 10.86 m.
Spencer Parkinson, Marc-Quan Daniels, and Ian Cordell also joined in on the PR party with Parkinson ending at 9.33 m, Daniels followed at 9.28 m, and Ian Cordell concluded his day at 8.36 m.
Ogechi Okpara showed out in the weight throw as well ending in ninth place with a PR of 13.29 m. Jessica Ballard also improved in her third meet with the Griffins having a PR toss of 9.79 m.
In the long jump, KeYonn Hall-Baker set a PR and tied the indoor program record at Fontbonne landing at 5.60 m. Hall-Baker also competed in the 200-meter dash ending at 24.71. Jonathan Parker ran his way to a time of 25.04.
Alexa Lofgren earned a new personal record time for herself in the 200-meter dash crossing the line at 28.22. Madelyn Huffstetter current PR time in the 200 is 28.85 and tonight she just missed out beating that finishing at 28.86.
In the 5000-meter run, Gabriel Hoekel (18:05.91) and Dominic Mueller (18:42.92) both set new personal records.
