Simms Wins SLIAC Field Newcomer of the Year

GREENVILLE, Ill. – Tyree Simms of the track and field team won the shot put title and was named SLIAC Field Newcomer of the Year award. Katie Leeker won the title in the 10000 Meter Run.

Gabriel Hoekel and Ogechi Okpara were named to the All-Sportsmanship Team.

The men's team finished fourth with 54 points, while the women's team finished sixth with 23 points.

The men's team had 10 athletes finishing in the top-five, while the women's team had five athletes finishing in the top-10.
