Pickard Named Newcomer of the Year & Track Athlete of the Year
PRINCIPIA, Ill. – The Fontbonne University track and field men's and women's team competed in the Indoor St. Louis Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship this Saturday.
Bryson Pickard was named Newcomer of the Year and Track Athlete of the Year. He also won gold in the 200-meter dash and 400-meter dash, setting a new SLIAC Championship record in both events.
The men's DMR was comprised of Andrew Jones, Gavin Rasmussen, Jacob Lorimier, and Steven Aguilar. They broke the school record, finished in third place, and were named Third Team All-Conference.
The Men's 4x400 meter relay was comprised of Jeremiah Willams, KeYonn Hall-Baker, Gavin Rasmussen, and Bryson Pickard. They broke the school record and finished second, earning Second Team All-Conference.
KeYonn Hall-Baker finished second on High Jump, earning Second Team All-Conference.
Alexa Lofgren finished third in the 400-meter dash (Third Team All-Conference).
Steven Aguilar finished third in the 3k (Third Team All-Conference).
Ja'Len Thomas finished 2nd in shot put (Second Team All-Conference).
Bradley Forrest broke the school record in Pole Vault.
Alexa Lofgren broke the school record in the 200-meter run.
