Track & Field Opens Season at Illinois College Snowbird Invite

JACKSONVILLE, Ill. – The Fontbonne University men's and women's track and field team traveled to Illinois College to open their final indoor season at the Illinois College Snowbird Invite.

On the women's side, Karmen Daniels competed in the long jump and finished in the 15^th spot. She recorded a 4.37-meter mark.

Yamiah Foster made her debut wearing the Fontbonne uniform in the shot put. She tossed 4.67-meter placing 46^th.

Brenna Foley participated in the one mile run.

On the men's side, Jacob Lorimier placed 35^th in the 800 meter run with a 2:18.85 time. He also finished 43^rd with a time of 5:13.41 in the one mile run.

The Griffins return to action for a two-day event at the Principia Relays in Elsah, Illinois on Jan. 31 and Feb. 2.
