Griffins' earn SLIAC Tournament #3 seed

Feb. 23, 2012 - The Fontbonne University women's basketball team has earned the #3 seed in this weekend's St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) Tournament held at Westminster College in Fulton, Missouri.

The Griffins (15-10 overall and 12-4 in the SLIAC) will play #2 seed Eureka College on Friday at 6 pm. Westminster College (the #1 seed) will play #4 seed Webster University on Friday at 8 pm in the other semifinal. The tournament's championship game will be Saturday at 7 pm.

Admission to the tournament is $5 for adults and $2 for student's of conference schools.
