Greenville, Ill. - The Greenville College Panthers got the better end of the Griffins tonight in Fontbonne's fifth consecutive loss. The Griffins fell to the Panthers 79-68.
Greenville only committed eight fouls all night, a season-low, sending Fontbonne to the charity stripe just seven times. Both teams were consistent as Fontbonne scored 34 points each half and Greenville 41 and 38.
Greenville's Taylor Paulin scored 21 points for the game-high. Paulin made four three-pointers and was 8-for-10 on the night.
Lauren Willis was on fire tonight for Fontbonne. The sophomore recorded a season-high 14 points as she also connected on four treys and was 5-for-7 all night. Olivia Hollander continues her double-digit scoring streak, totaling 17 points tonight along with seven rebounds. Emmie Haring continues to make plays and share the ball, this time assisting nine times while accumulating 13 points, five rebounds and three steals.
