A Look At The Griffins
- Fontbonne will return to the court for the first time since Oct. 29th when they squared off against Mizzou in an exhibition outing.
- After coming off an 11-14 (7-9 SLIAC) campaign, the Griffins were picked to finish tied for fifth in the SLIAC Preseason Poll.
- The team brings back leading scorer and SLIAC All-Conference Second Team selectee, Rylee Stafford. She looks to build off her career-high 15.4 point per game average from a season ago.
- Raven Venegas also returns for her senior season where she averaged 12.2 points per game last year and shot a career-best 54.7 percent from the floor.
A Look At The STLCOP Eutectics
- The Eutectics are off to a 1-1 start in 2019-20.
- The team opened its year with a 78-63 win over Cottey College but fell against Graceland, 80-69 back on November 2nd.
- On the year, they're averaging 73.5 points on a 36.2 field goal percentage.
- Grace Beyer is off to a fast start with the Eagle, Wis., native averaging a team-high 28.5 points per game, while shooting 54.8 percent from the floor and 50.0 percent from downtown. She currently ranks second in the NAIA in points per game.
- Elizabeth Allanach put up 18 points against Graceland to up her season average to 12.5 points.
