Riley Guffey Named SLIAC Women's Basketball Player Of The Week
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) announced Riley Guffey as the SLIAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the first time this year.
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) announced Riley Guffey as the SLIAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the first time this year.
Guffey, a Newburg, Mo., native, earns the award after averaging 15.0 points, 4.5 rebounds, 3.0 assists, and shooting a team-best 52.6 percent from the floor. She posted a season-high 17 points off the bench in the Griffins victory over Westminster on Wednesday.
On the year, she's averaging 5.8 points on a 40.6 field goal percentage and connecting on 36.6 percent of her shots from downtown.
The team returns to action at home on Tuesday night when they'll host Principia. Tip-off at 5:30 p.m.
