A Look At The Griffins
- The Griffins are back in the SLIAC Tournament for the first time since 2016-17 when they were the No. 4 seed.
- This is the highest seed for Fontbonne since the 2009-10 season when they were No. 1 in the SLIAC Tournament and eventually won the SLIAC Championship over Blackburn.
- This year, the Griffins have already set the program-record with 15 conference wins and they'll enter the tournament as one of the hottest teams winning 12 of its last 13.
- During the 13-game stretch, the Griffins averaged 74.5 points per game and connected on 44.1 percent of its shots. Defensively, they held teams to 58.8 points per game and a 38.6 field goal percentage. They also forced 22.0 turnovers per game.
- Rylee Stafford led with a team-high 18.8 points per game. She shot 44.2 percent from the field and 37.2 percent from downtown during that stretch.
- Raven Venegas nearly averaged a double-double with 12.4 points and 7.3 rebounds per game. She shot a team-high 59.3 percent from the floor.
- Kourtney White averaged 9.6 points, while Jillian Venegas and Riley Guffey averaged 8.8 and 8.6 points per game.
- Against Spalding, the teams split the two contests with each protecting home floor.
- Fontbonne averaged 57.0 points against Spalding and shot 35.9 percent from the field. Stafford led in the two games averaging 16.0 points per game.
A Look At The Spalding Golden Eagles
- Spalding is back in the SLIAC Tournament for the second straight season. Last year, the Golden Eagles were the No. 2 seed but fell in the title game against Greenville, 72-66.
- The Golden Eagles finished out the regular season winning seven of its last eight.

- Megan Goeing and Maleah Hirn are putting up 10.4 and 10.1 points per game, respectively.
- Against Fontbonne, the Golden Eagles averaged 67.5 points and held a 33.5-30.5 rebounding advantage.
- Wright led averaging 14.5 points and 6.5 rebounds per game, to go along with her 52.0 field goal percentage.
- Just averaged 12.0 points and Hirn finished with 11.5 points per game.
