How It Happened
In the first quarter, the Griffins grabbed a quick 5-2 lead on Rylee Stafford's 3-pointer. The Blue Jays, though went on a 13-0 run over the next six minutes to lead by 10 with 3:27 remaining.
The Griffins chipped away at the lead over a two-minute stretch with Riley Guffey connecting on her 3-pointer to make it 21-16 after one.
In the second quarter, the Blue Jays went on a 14-3 run over a three minute and nine second span on Kallee Dowler's 3-pointer. Westminster continued to control the game the rest of the way leading 56-33 at the break. In the second half, the Blue Jays outscored Fontbonne 46-34 en route to the 35-point victory.
