Game Breakdown
In the first quarter, a 3-pointer from Rylee Pickett at the 5:37 mark had the Griffins down 10-8. The Gorloks went on a 10-3 run over the next four minutes, however, the Griffins finished off the quarter on a 5-0 run with Kourtney White's jumper and a 3-pointer from Rylee Stafford having the Griffins down, 20-16.
In the second quarter, Kourtney White made her layup at the 7:29 mark trimming the deficit to 26-20. The Gorloks, though responded with a 16-0 run over the next four minutes extending its lead out to 42-20.
Fontbonne finished out the quarter on a 6-0 run, but the Gorloks still led 42-26 at the break.
In the third, the Griffins came out with a sense of urgency going on a 11-2 run with Sam Foppe layup making it a 44-37 game with 6:25 left. Webster answered right back finishing out the final six minutes on a 20-5 run leading 64-42 going into the fourth.
In the fourth, the Griffins outscored Webster 17-15 but the Gorloks held its double-digit lead throughout going on for the 20-point win.
