ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University women's basketball team fell 71-42 against College of the Ozarks on Wednesday.
A layup from Whitney Gines at the 5:03 mark had the Griffins down just 10-7 in the first. The Lady Bobcats, though closed out the quarter on a 14-4 run leading by 13.
In the second quarter, the Lady Bobcats outscored Fontbonne 15-3 taking a 39-14 advantage into the locker room.
COFO remained in control throughout the second half as they outscored Fontbonne 32-28 en route to the 29-point win.
