EUREKA, Ill. – The Fontbonne University women's basketball team defeated Eureka College in a nail-biting contest, 68-66. The Griffins improve to 2-12 on the season and 2-5 in conference play.
There were 16 lead changes and 10 ties in the matchup as Ja'mise Bailey scored a three-pointer with 12 seconds left on the clock to secure the win.
Tonight was the seventh straight game scoring double figures for Bailey and 11th of the season.
By the Numbers
26 – Ja'mise Bailey led the floor with 26 points. She also pulled down eight boards.
16 – Hannah Myers added 16 points to the win. She recorded nine rebounds, with five coming from the offensive end, being one rebound shy from a double-double.
