Householder Leads Women's Golf At The Dan Quayle Collegiate Invite

CLAYTON, Ind.—The Fontbonne University women's golf team concluded its final round today at the Dan Quayle Collegiate Invite.
Washington University (Mo.), was able to hang on for the team title with a 40-over par 616. The Bears were able to fend off Wittenberg University as they shot a 51-over par 617 (304-313) for second place.
Individually, Jane Hopkinson-Wood (Wittenberg) jumped up three spots to win the overall with a 3-over par 147 (73-74). Fontbonne, meanwhile, was led by Hannah Householder's 40-over par 184 (92-92) performance that placed her in 53rd.
Maddie Vandervort shot a 51-over par 195 (96-99) for 60th place, while Sammi Charpentier closed out with a 60-over par 204.

The team will return to the course next Saturday at the Red Trail Run in Decatur, Illinois, hosted by Millikin.
