Women's Golf Finishes In Seventh At The Rhodes Invite

Huntingdon College hung on for the victory as they posted a 35-over par 619 (312-307). Host Rhodes College ended up in second at 45-over par 629 (316-313), while Wittenberg shot a 56-over par 640 (321-319) for third.
Individually, Vanessa Leiterman took home the win as she scored an even-par 146 (74-72). She was the lone player in the field to finish today's round under-par (-1).
Sammi Charpentier led the Griffins with her 28th place finish. She totaled four pars and six bogeys to finish at 44-over par 190 (91-99).
Maddi Vandervort improved her first round score by 14-strokes this afternoon to end at 48-over par. After totaling just one par on the front-nine yesterday, Vandervort had four today and five overall.
Hannah Householder closed her day out in 32nd at 52-over par 198, while Casey Linsenbardt shot 11-strokes better in the final round to finish in 36th.
The Griffins return to action on April 9th at the Missouri Valley Spring Invite at Indian Foothills Golf Course.
