Vandervort Earns Top-10 Finish At Illinois College

JACKSONVILLE, Ill.—The Fontbonne University women's golf team closed out the Illinois College Invite in fifth place with a 763 (385-378).

How It Happened

Monmouth College won the event overall at 80-over par 656 (321-335). Illinois College scored a 94-over par 670 (334-336), while Carl Sandburg Community College rounded out in third at 116-over par 692 (349-343).

Individually, Shelby Keen (Knox) took home the victory with a 10-over par 154 (79-75). Maddi Vandervort shot a season-best 24-over par 168 (82-86) to finish in a tie for 10^th place. Grace Harlin also scored a season-best 27-over par 171 (86-85) to conclude in a 14^th place tie.

Allison Franken turned in her scorecard with a 67-over par 211 (109-102), while Sarah Saddoris followed with a 69-over par 213 (108-105).
