How It Happened
The Griffins opened with a 6-0 lead with Kody Kretzer earning a forfeit win. The team extended its lead out to 9-0 at 133 with Daniel Bauer earning a 6-4 decision victory over Domingo Davila.
Schreiner cut into the lead at 141 pounds with Petey Lozano winning by technical fall over Josh Presley. At 149, the Griffins owned a 12-5 lead after Joe Beck won a 3-0 decision over Naseer Willis.
However, the Mountaineers went on to win the next four matches en route to the 26-12 victory.

How It Happened
At 125, the Griffins took a 5-0 lead with Kretzer winning by technical fall over Orlando Hernandez. After Emory & Henry won at the next two matches, the Griffins regained a 9-6 lead on Beck's major decision victory over Skyler Rouse.
Emory & Henry took back a 10-9 lead at 157 with Levi Field winning by fall. The Griffins, though gained the advantage right back at 15-10 with Micah Dennis earning a win by fall at 1:41 over Matthew Cox.
Emory & Henry went on to win by three with Thomas Roberts picking up the forfeit win at 285.
