After the Griffins opened with a 6-0 lead with Diego McCormick winning by forfeit, the Cardinals went on to win the next five matches.
At 174, the Griffins gained some momentum with Micah Dennis earning a hard fought 12-9 decision win over Dom Howlett. However, the Cardinals won the final two matches by fall for the victory.
