Wrestling Opens Season at Menlo Invite in California

ALTHERTON, Calif. – The Fontbonne University men's and women's wrestling team traveled to the West Coast to open their season at Menlo College.

The competition featured several NCAA Division I universities, including several ranked wrestlers.

"From a wrestling standpoint, we learned a lot about what we need to work on," shared Head Coach Chad Cook. "I really liked that Bradyn went against a guy that was ranked top five in the nation in D1, and he wasn't afraid to attack right away. It was great to see Dan dominate in his 2nd match. In the moments that she trusted herself, Jas did great and put up a lot of points!"

"We want to thank our administration for this unbelievable trip that we will always remember and cherish. We're grateful this opportunity," concluded Cook.
