Wendt And Ellen Weaver Named To The Scholar All-North/Central Region Third Team
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—Fontbonne University women’s soccer players Meredith Wendt and Ellen Weaver were named to the 2017 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Women’s Soccer All-North/Central Region Third Team.
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—Fontbonne University women's soccer players Meredith Wendt and Ellen Weaver were named to the 2017 United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Women's Soccer All-North/Central Region Third Team.
Wendt, a Troy, Illinois, native, had a tremendous 2017 campaign where she set new career-high marks in goals (16), assists (11), points (43) and game winning goals (five). She closes out her career with 30 goals in 41 games played and 75 points.
The senior will graduate with a degree in Psychology and owns a 3.94 grade point average.
Weaver, meanwhile, appeared in 19 games this year, totaling five goals and a career-high eight assists for 18 points. She'll end her career with 15 goals and 14 assists for 44 points in 55 games. The St. Charles, Missouri, native, will graduate with a degree in Strategic Communication and has a 3.63 grade point average.
