Makayla Hussong Named SLIAC Defensive Player Of The Week

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The St. Louis intercollegiate Athletic Conference (SLIAC) announced women's soccer player, Makayla Hussong, as the Defensive Player of the Week.

Hussong, a Florissant, Mo., native, totaled 12 saves over the two game stretch against Ozarks and Rhodes. She finished the weekend with a 0.90 goals against average and a .857 save percentage.

The Griffins return to action this Saturday at home against Transylvania. Kick-off at 1 p.m., from Centene Stadium.
