ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University Women's Soccer Team will be on the road all this week. The Griffins will start off just down the road at WashU on Friday to take on the Bears. On Sunday they will travel to Mount Vernon, Iowa to play Cornell College.

A Look At The Griffins

• Last weekend Fontbonne University Women's Soccer hosted two games against STLCOP (7-0) and Hendrix (1-1)
• Senior Makayla Hussong has 24 combined saves so far for the 2019 season and save percentage of .828%
• The team has a combined eight goals on the season.
• Sophomore Caroline Neal leads the team in goals with two.
• Junior  Sam Amezua leads the team in assists with three for the season.

A Look At The No. 9 WashU Bears

• The Bears 6-1-1 with a three game winning streak.
• WashU played No. 5 Wheaton Sept. 18. Beating them (2-1)
• Junior Ellie Deconinck has three goals and assists on the season
• Sophomore Marissa Kalkar have three goals on the season with one assist.
• Junior GK Emma Greenfield has six saves and five wins so far for the season.

A Look At Cornell College

• Cornell College Women's Soccer team is (2-2)
• Senior Ashley Quesada has three goals and one assist on the season
• While not far behind is Sophomore Sam O'Brien with two goals and assists.
