GREENCASTLE, Ind. – The Fontbonne University women's soccer team fell short to Depauw University on the road, 2-1. The team moves to 0-2-1 on the season.
Bianca Cortez-Perez found the back of the net first for Fontbonne to take the lead, 1-0.
However, Depauw scored the next two to end the game with a 2-1 victory.
Fontbonne had six shots with four coming in the first half.
Holly Pearce played 90 minutes in between posts and had four saves.
The Griffins return to action next Wednesday, Sept. 20 at Transylvania. Kick off is set for 8 p.m.
