FULTON, Mo. - The Fontbonne University women's soccer team defeated Westminster College, 2-1. The Griffins improve to 7-7-1 overall and 7-1 in conference play.
Five minutes into the first period, Cassidy Head found the back of the net for the Griffins.
Less than one minute later, Westminster answered with a goal to tie the game.
In the 42nd minute, Katie Leeker scored the last goal of the game to give the Griffins a win.
Holly Pearce played 90 minutes in between posts.
Fontbonne outshot Westminster, 20-1.
