Women's Volleyball Travels To Spalding For First Conference Game

ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University women's volleyball team looks to open conference play with a win as they'll take on Spalding in Louisville, Ky.

Fontbonne Notes

• The Griffins are coming off a four set loss against University of Health Sciences and Pharmacy back on September 8^th.
• The team finished with 52 kills and a .205 hitting percentage.
• Hannah Gallagher led with 15 kills and 12 digs, while Jadyn Fitzgerald also had a double-double with 13 kills and 16 digs.
• Ella Werner-Click handed out 38 assists and Emma Pramik finished with 19 digs.
• Through two games, the Griffins average 9.50 kills per set and a .135 hitting percentage.
• Gallagher leads with 22 kills and ranks third in the SLIAC with her 3.14 kills per set.
• Fitzgerald has 18 kills and 20 digs thus far, while Jordan Harpel and Kristen Kaempfe have 12 and 11 kills, respectively.
• Ella Werner-Click averages 8.29 assists per set placing her third overall in the SLIAC.
• Defensively, the Griffins come away with 13.00 digs per set.
• At the net, Harpel is fifth in the SLIAC with her 0.71 blocks per set.

Spalding Notes

• The Golden Eagles look to halt its three game slide after falling to Webster in its first conference game on September 10^th in four sets.
• Offensively, the Golden Eagles are second in the SLIAC averaging 10.55 kills per set but rank sixth in hitting percentage (.100).
• Jayda Branch leads the offense with 48 kills and 2.67 kills per set.
• Samantha Robison is second with 42 and a .191 hitting percentage, while Hannah Holland owns 40 kills and a .090 hitting percentage.
• Setter Mya Summers averages 7.94 assists per set.
• Defensively, the Golden Eagles come away with 16.85 digs per set.
• Emily Jaggers leads the team with 60 digs (3.75 digs per set).
