Griffins Win Two on Day One of Millikin Invitational

DECATUR, Ill. – The Fontbonne University women's volleyball team won both of their matches in the opening day of the Millikin Invitational. They faced Capital University first where they took the four-set win in a come-from-behind style followed by a sweep over Knox College. The Griffins improve to 4-3 on the season.

Game one set scores were: 21-25, 25-9, 25-22, 25-23.

By the Numbers:

25 – Ella Werner-Click had 25 assists during four sets played.

16 – The Griffins totaled 16 kills in set three.

15 – Riley Watson assisted in 15 of the Griffins' attacks. Hannah Gallagher recorded 15 points and 15 digs during the game.

10.5 – Both Maura Oge and Paige Rowland each scored 10.5 points.

Games two set scores were: 25-20, 25-18, 25-9.
