Gallagher and Werner-Click Earned CSC All-District Honors
ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Hannah Gallagher and Ella Werner-Click of the Fontbonne University women's volleyball team were selected to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District team, announced the organization today.
The 2023 Academic All-District® Volleyball teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes volleyball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.

Academic All-District® honorees were considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. Student-athletes selected as CSC Academic All-America® finalists are denoted with an asterisk and will advance to the national ballot to be voted on by CSC members. First-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® honorees will be announced Jan. 9, 2024.
Hannah Gallagher, a senior outside hitter, from St. Peters, Mo. She played in 33 matches this season, totaling 258 kills, 313 digs, and 44 service aces. She is currently sitting in 10th in service aces with 44 and a 0.39 average, and ninth in points with 313 and a 2.79 average per set.
Ella Werner-Click, a senior setter, from Springfield, Mo. She started in all 33 matches played, recording 33 aces, 195 digs, and 607 assists. She averaged 7.40 assists per set. Werner-Click recorded 2,000 assists during this season. She is ranked fifth in assists in the SLIAC averaging 5.09 per set.
