CARLINVILLE, Ill. - The Fontbonne University volleyball team earned their fifth consecutive victory after sweeping Blackburn on the road. The Griffins improve to 11-5 on the season and 7-2 in SLIAC play.
Tonight's sweep was also their ninth sweep of the season. The set scores were: 25-21, 25-22, 25-19.
Jordan Harpel led the floor with 14.5 points, including 11 kills and three block assists.
Kristen Kaempfe was one dig away from a double-double with 10 kills and nine digs.
Riley Watson recorded 28 assists, nine digs and four block assists.
Emma Harrop totaled 17 digs and two service aces. She's one ace away from reaching 100 career service aces.
Piper Fitzgerald added 10 digs on the night.
