How It Happened
At 123 pounds, Julia Quan fell by fall one minute and 10 seconds in against Emma De Brum. In the consolation bracket, Quan moved on the first two rounds with a bye and went on to meet Madison Ruckdashel from Lakeland. Ruckdashel was able to defeat Quan by a 10-0 technical fall for the victory.
After receiving a bye in the quarterfinal round in the 170-pound division, Hailey Krupp took on Zanaya Shropshire from MacMurray and Shropshire won by fall at 2:21.
From there, she moved over to the consolation semifinals and fell by fall against Lacey Jung-Michonski (Adrian College). Krupp did pick up six points in the fifth place match after receiving a bye.

The team returns to action on November 17th when they'll head on over to the Missouri Valley Open in Marshall, Mo.
