ST. LOUIS, Mo.—The Fontbonne University women's wrestling team opened its 2021-22 season with a tough 35-10 loss against Missouri Baptist.
After Missouri Baptist grabbed a couple forfeit wins, the Griffins evened up the scoreboard at 10-10 with both Vanessa Guevara and Rider Marks winning by forfeit.
However, the Spartans went on to win the next five contests securing the 35-10 victory over Fontbonne.
