Women's Wrestling Finishes In 10th At The North Central College Invite

Rider Marks competed at 130 for Fontbonne and dropped her opener against Emma Grimm (North Central) by fall at 1:25. In her next contest, though Marks knocked off Lexys Basruto (Schreiner) by fall at 1:45.
Marks ran into Halle White (North Central) in her third match of the day and it was White coming away with the 10-0 technical fall win.
At 143, Kayla Davis opened with a win by fall at 1:24 against Audrey Driskell. She fell by technical fall in her next match against Ashlynn Ortega (King University). On the consolation side, Davis faced Tristan Folkner (Westminster) and Folkner won by technical fall, 12-2.
Kai Poux wrestled at 170 for Fontbonne and fell at 1:35 in her first match against Destynie Pacheco (Augsburg). Poux then took on Ashley Lekas (Twin Cities RTC) and Lekas earned the technical fall win, 11-0.
Lexi Yancey hit the mat at 191 and fell by fall at 2:35 against Traeh Haynes (North Central). In her next contest on the consolation side, Yancey fell against Amber Latta (North Central) by technical fall, 10-0.
