Cross Country Sets Multiple Personal-Records At Fast Cats Classic
OWENSBORO, Ky.—The Fontbonne University cross country teams were back on the course today at the Fast Cats Classic. The men’s team ended up in 15th, while the women’s squad rounded out in 14th.

How It Happened
The men's race started the day off and Rose-Hulman took the overall win with a score of 58 and a total time of 2:11.29. They finished just ahead of Christian Brothers score of 70 and a time of 2:11.44. Individually, Austin Stallings (Centre), won with a time of 25:19.
Domenick Blanchette led Fontbonne with a personal-record time of 30:02.0 which was three minutes and seven seconds faster than his previous PR. Austin Joyce ran a strong race with a time of 31:54.0 and that's three minutes faster than his time at the H.W. Wright Classic.
Keyonn Baker-Hall hit the course for the second time this year and concluded with a personal-record time of 33:34.0.
Juwan Lee was the next Griffin to cross the line at 35:24.0 and that's nearly seven minutes faster than this time two weekends ago. Anh Nguyen, meanwhile, made his cross country debut and timed out at 41:31.0.
On the women's side, Centre won with a total score of 41 and a total time of 1:33.56. Individually, Anna Lowry (Evansville) finished the 6K with a time of 17:43 for the victory.
Taylor Aurand led Fontbonne with a personal-record time of 22:37.0. Desiree Brooks was right on her heels at 22:41.0 for a personal-record which was two minutes faster in the 5K at the Six Flags Invite.
Patience Vandermierden ran her way to a personal-record time of 23:26.0 to make that three minutes faster than her previous PR at the Six Flags Invite.
Emily Bay earned herself another PR of 23:46 which was a minute and 13 seconds faster than the Six Flags Invite.
Anna Takano hit a personal-record at 27:36.0, while Libby Mathews made her debut with the Griffins to conclude at 29:04.0.
