A Look At The Griffins
- Fontbonne won its fourth straight game on Tuesday night after rolling past Principia, 88-50.
- The team set multiple season-highs in field goals made (34), field goals attempted (78), 3-pointers made (15), 3-pointers attempted (40), assists (28), steals (22), and points (88).
- Rylee Stafford posted a team-high 30 points on 10-of-18 shooting. It's the third career 30-plus point game for the junior.
- Jillian Venegas also had a strong game with a career-high 22 points.
- During its winning streak, the Griffins are putting up 77.5 points per game and shooting 43.6 percent from the floor.
- Stafford is averaging 23.2 points during the winning streak which puts her with a 16.1 season average. She currently ranks third in the SLIAC in points per game, second in total points (258), fifth in field goals made (84), first in 3-pointers made (46), and third in steals (37).
- Raven Venegas is averaging 11.2 points per game thus far and connecting on 50.0 percent of her attempts which is fifth-best in the SLIAC.
- Jillian Venegas, meanwhile, is averaging 11.0 points during the last four games which has upped her season average to 6.9 points per game.
A Look At The MacMurray Highlanders
- MacMurray won its second straight game on Wednesday after coming away with the 66-64 win against Westminster. It's the first win for the Highlanders over Westminster since the 2007 season.
- The team shot 39.6 percent from the floor and were led by Abby Stotler's team-high 17 points. Savanah Moore and Alaina Vance added 16 and 13 points, respectively.
- On the season, they're putting up 60.4 points per game and are led by Alexis Doyle's 10.9 point per game average.
- Savanah Moore averages 10.1 points, while Abby Stotler averages 9.8 points per game.
