Boyer, Golich and Greenway all received All-Central region accolades for the 2017 baseball season.

After trailing 5-2, Fontbonne tied the game 5-5 as they headed into the bottom of the ninth. After a single, error and two walks, the Griffins downed the Gorloks 6-5 on a walk-off sacrifice fly.

Despite losing both games 5-0 Saturday afternoon at Webster University, the Griffins still have a chance to make it to the SLIAC Tournament if they defeat the Gorloks Sunday and if Westminster loses to Eureka.

Senior outfielder Ethan Borrowman is just the second baseball player in Fontbonne history to be named to a CoSIDA Academic All-District team!

Fontbonne baseball scored 17 runs on 25 hits as they shutout Blackburn to advance to 12-7 in conference play. The Griffins finish the regular season this weekend in a three-game series against Webster, hoping to advance to the SLIAC Tournament.

Fontbonne baseball out-scored Principia 36-8 as the Griffins are now 10-7 in conference play.

Fontbonne combined for 22 hits which included five doubles and three home runs as the Griffins collected 17 RBI in their victory over the Tigers.

Senior Joey Clemente struck out seven Tigers over seven innings on the mound while allowing just two hits on his way to a Fontbonne 6-0 victory over Iowa Wesleyan. The win is the third for Clemente on the year.

Sophomore third baseman Jonathan Hoevelmann averaged .800 over three games last week to earn SLIAC Hitter of the Week.

Brett Lange earned his first win of the season while Matt Tossick hit his first career collegiate home run. The Griffins tallied 27 hits in the victory, the most since 2008.

Women's Tennis senior Mariana Rogers and baseball junior Ryan Schocker took home the honors for the Griffins this week.
